Symposium

Concert 2.0

   

Our “classical” concert life is in a state of flux. Major crises such as the global Corona pandemic, the Ukraine war and the associated social change are having a strong impact on event forms, that still date back to the 19th century in their basic features. In addition, there are new technical possibilities, such as through video or 5G network, whereby data exchange is possible practically in real time and opens completely new forms for the art field. What are the current trends and currents? What ideas and format concepts are leading traditional houses dealing with as well as new cultural movements and creative artists?

We want to talk about this with:

  • Ying Wang, composer
  • Karsten Witt, Managing Director Karsten Witt Musik Management GmbH and CLSX.de
  • Marlene Brüggen, Head of Artistic Planning DSO Berlin
  • Konstantin Udert, Head of Detect Classic Festival, Managing Director junge norddeutsche philharmonie (jnp)
